The Oscillographer from DuMont was begun in 
									1937 as a publication intended to inform 
									both customers and the staff of this 
									electronics company.  
									Allen B. DuMont Laboratories, Inc.,  
									commonly referred to as DuMont Laboratories, 
									was an American television equipment 
									manufacturer and broadcasting company. 
									The Oscillographer became the Instrument 
									Journal in 1957 
									DuMont also published Service News from 1951 
									to at least 1955 
 DuMont ran the "fourth TV network" in the 
									early days of television in the US.. 
									In 1957 the magazine became The Instrument
